Punk Rock

Work:: Punk Rock (S01757928447)

It's exam time and a clique of sixth formers hang out in their school library, preparing for their mock A Levels. The dysfunctional group journey through pre-exam stress discussing their first world problems. They struggle with their identity, questioning the status quo, while hoping to find their place in it. There's a fear of failure and being judged by intelligence alone, parental pressure to get straight A's and expectations of getting into university. These pressures combined with sleep deprivation, sexual frustration and troubling thoughts lead to a shocking climax in this acclaimed play.
