Pramface

Pramface

Work:: Pramface (S528288533)

Pramface is a term first spawned by the celebrity website Popbitch for a face better suited to pushing a pram round a housing estate. A disturbing and darkly comic tale of social realism and celebrity stalking in which Pramface, a monster in a tracksuit, keeps an obsessive secret locked in her cellar. Shoving modern stereotypes past the extreme, Pramface explores the nightmare consequences of a celebrity obsessed society and its victims. The story evolves from black humour to horror as the edges between Pramface, a modern day Golem, and her victim, celebrity journalist Holly Lord begin to blur.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
