Set in an old fashioned Wexford betting shop on the weekend leading up to the All Ireland Hurling Final, Danger Doyle returns to town to face all those left behind - Joe, his old sidekick; Molly, his old flame; Steven, whose wife he ran away with and Eileen her abandoned daughter. Passions run high as old wounds re-open, scores are settled and fragile truces torn asunder.
