Poker Face archive2011, Prague. Vaclav Havel has just died. Jana, who might have had a one night stand with him in 1989, has swapped ideals for poker and lives in luxury with her daughter Pavlina. Is there still place for "heroes" in our societies? Or is easy money our only hope for a better life? While Havel's funeral is broadcast on TV, mother and daughter confront their past, the falling of an idol and a dubious young man. Poker Face is a dark, grotesque political farce about money, sex, power and three generations of a Czech family against the backdrop of radical change in Central Europe.
