When combined with the word play, this indicates someone who has wrought words, themes, and other elements into a dramatic form, someone who crafts plays. A week-long celebration of new ideas, new voices and new writing. PlayWROUGHT #2 will see six exciting new plays from writers of Middle Eastern, Asian and North African heritage premier as a series of rehearsed readings. PlayWROUGHT #2 is presented to coincide with the forthcoming production, The Nightmares of Carlos Fuentes by Rashid Razak and directed by Nicolas Kent. These playwrights will go on to be the founding members of Arcola's Middle Eastern, Asian and North African writers group.
