Downtown Barnsley and it's the annual darts final in the Frog and Duck. The tension is high as the ladies team make the finals again and the lads, well the lads are struggling. The rock solid marriage of landlord Alan and his wife Kath is about to be put to the test when a routine check-up shows that it might not just be the darts team that has been playing away. Throw into the mix an interfering mother in law, an unintelligible Irishman and the ups and downs of Barnsley's worst slimmers and you have an unforgettable evening of laughter and tears.
