A stomach-churning journey through a poverty cycle where flesh is traded pound for pound. Inspired by a true story and drawing on the films of Louis Buñuel, Pit utilises three actresses to follow one woman's struggle to nourish her family, in a world where she herself is at the bottom of the food chain and the human soul weighs in at a measly 21 grams. Chew over the emotional, chemical and political cycles of hunger, nurture, death and digestion.
