Picasso 2033 archiveFollowing the hot trend of AI and the Inspiration by Picasso's painting, this production follows the protagonist and her mother, set in the year 2033 when AI has gradually replaced humans in the field of art. "Picasso 2033" reflects on the future of art through the story of AI-drawing trainer "9527." In the narrative, "9527" returns to the house she once shared with her mother. Her mother's unfinished painting, created during her struggle with Alzheimer's disease, awakens memories and prompts a deep reflection on the nature of art, AI, and the future of human identity and creativity. Picasso 2033 asks the timely question: when we are busy surviving, what is the point of making art? It was performed in China last year in the Daliangshan Theatre Festival,it would be a new edition in Edinburgh!
