Paradise Lost

Work:: Paradise Lost (S01110431452)

Paradise Lost tells the story of Lucifer and his fallen angels' defeat in the war in heaven, their subsequent plunge into Hell and, once there, their malevolent regrouping. There follows the great journey of Satan through deep space to the newly made planet Earth and his temptation of Eve in the Garden of Eden, leading to the Fall of Mankind.
Author Milton

Production:: (T01234694738)

Using Milton's words almost exclusively, the production uses ensemble physical theatre techniques to create the epic monsters and angels depicted in the text, with characters including a faceless and unpredictable blob ?chaos' and ukulele-playing angels Zephron and Ithuriel. The immersive design by Zahea Mansouri invites audiences to experience both ?heaven' and ?hell', while ?Eden' plays home to an apple cider bar that is open throughout the show. World Premiere. Running time: approx. 2hrs (with interval). Suitable for ages 16+
