Out of Nowhere archiveTwo children appear out of nowhere. They can't, or won't, speak and know nothing of the modern world. Nobody knows who they are, where they've come from or what to do with them. One teacher defies the authorities to take the children under her wing. She sets about trying to help them to cope in their bewildering new life. As they try to learn even the simplest words and meanings, their imaginations are filled with strange and new fantastical and sometimes frightening images. An unbreakable bond unites the two children as they struggle to understand what is happening to them and become more dependent on their teacher. The fragile balance between the three of them is threatened when one of the children proves to be far quicker at learning and adapting.
