Lyle Kessler's intense and emotional drama follows the plight of two brothers in Philadelphia - the city of 'brotherly love'. The volatile Treat and the sweet naive Phillip were orphaned at an early age and live a hand to mouth existence with Treat stealing for them both on a daily basis. Then they are suddenly joined by Harold, a middle aged man whose appearance propels the three men into a journey of self-discovery that changed their lives forever.
