One Fine Day archiveA modern play about Eddie, a young Liverpudlian metal worker whose contented life on suburban housing estate with his wife, Jeanie, and his two young children, Katie and Billy, turns into a living nightmare when he suddenly finds himself investigated by Social Services. Described as 'not unlike a male Shirley Valentine', this funny and ultimately very moving play has at its core a delicate issue handled with great humour, warmth and sensitivity. Contains strong language and subject matter: suitable for over-16s only.
