Once Upon a Something archiveOnce Upon a Something is a story about four performers. It is a story about knights, princesses, wicked witches and enchanted castletraces. There are heroes, there are villains, there are victims and there is fairy dust. The performers find their roles amongst the debris of imagination as they search for their moment in the limelight, struggling to provide the audience with an epiphany, they become increasingly absorbed into the fiction of performance, carrying with it with fatal consequences. Playful dance, fascinating storytelling and precise comic timing are used in an attempt to create a bizarre and visually decadent world. Witty, exciting, and at times surprising, Once Upon a Something is the ultimate exploration of performer ego, illustrating exactly how far performers are willing to go for their moment on the stage.
