Michael Kelligan’s Look Who’s Talking Now season kicks off with a script-held performance from another Welsh contemporary playwright. This often surreal play finds the blocked writer Trecci (Loosely based on the Scottish 20th century ‘avant-garde’ novelist Alexander Trocchi) alone on his barge, only stepping out for riotous visits to the pub and occasional sexual encounters with his neighbour’s one-legged wife. An attractive young man who turns out to be an attractive young woman steps into his life and Trecci is unwilling to be drawn back into the world outside...
