Often Onstage

Work:: Often Onstage (S735453958)

In a choreographic exercise of comings and goings this five strong team find increasingly ridiculous ways to enter and leave the stage. With curtain calls, blood baths and exits pursued by bears, this show is a playfully sarcastic deconstruction of traditional theatre. As well as a lot of going off and on stage, Often Onstage showcases the often hilarious, frequently frustrating behind the scenes problems the company encounter in their off stage lives as they try to ensure they remain... often onstage. This is a show that mixes up theatrical conventions and forces you to question where the show ends and reality begins, all done through the company's unique mix of theatre, dance and comedy.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
