Offa's Dyke
Work:: Offa's Dyke (S994919783)
Neville and Neil meet in Chepstow for the first time in over twenty years, to walk along Offa's Dyke. But they find they are not the only ones at the campsite. There's Don, recently made redundant and with time on his hands now to spend a family holiday with his wife Wendy. She is looking forward to a return to nature, but what of reluctant urban teenage sons, Glynn and Harry? Fran and Mildred are there too, putting a traumatic past behind and looking for a new life. Then there's an eccentric loner, Giles and an accident-prone Arnold. Also up for the 170-mile trip - a trio of young people: Jez, escaping into the countryside, Nathan, out for any experience and of course Sam. This picturesque comedy follows their fortunes, through fair weather and foul and seek the promised land, Prestatyn. The script contains strong language.
