October 1918 archiveOctober 1918 tells the story of a young, upper-class Viennese officer and a Hungarian private who are thrown together in the final days of the war. Initially antagonistic towards each other, the two men grow to realise that, facing the same fate, they share a great deal in common in spite of their different backgrounds. In the extreme circumstances of war, they learn to trust and support each other.
