No Show archiveJosh and his Dad have been trying to come to terms with the tragic death of Josh's Mum. Over time, they've found comfort in their common love of films. Horror films. As Josh grows up and the pressure on him to flee the nest builds, the dynamic in their relationship gradually shifts. They both come to realise that the scary things in life are not like those you see in the movies. No Show is a play exploring the blurry line between the carer and the cared-for. It is about the importance of support networks for us all, and how mental illness can and does affect everyone.
