Nicholas Nickleby Parts I and II

Nicholas Nickleby Parts I and II

Work:: Nicholas Nickleby Parts I and II (S01603776775)

Dickens' epic and spectacular tale of greed, poverty and cruelty in Victorian England. Prompted by the death of his father, Nicholas makes his way to London to seek the financial assistance of his calculating uncle - Ralph Nickleby. He befriends the wretched and solitary Smike, and encounters the infamous Infant Phenomenon amongst other classic Dickensian characters. However, underneath the veneer of respectability and virtue lie long hidden secrets and the story is driven to its shocking conclusion.
