New International Voices Double Bill - He Who Saw Everything/A Summary of Sex

New International Voices Double Bill

Work:: New International Voices Double Bill (S159702072)

For two weeks, Amsterdam-based theatre company Gehring & Ketelaars and Lebanese theatre-makers Zoukak will be in residency at Battersea Arts Centre, testing out new ideas and immersing themselves within the LIFT festival.

Production:: He Who Saw Everything/A Summary of Sex (T3474905)

He Who Saw Everything - A theatre investigation on death, the value of life, and new forms of quests for immortality in contemporary societies. A Summary of Sex - Growing up, the only thing Gehring & Ketelaars learned about sex was what kind of diseases one can get, and how to say no. For their new performance A Summary Of Sex they will research sexual disorders and pleasures. They will embrace true intimacy and become 'alpha-women' whilst trying to find out why porn is arousing, and why the public image of sex is either shameful or impersonal, and nothing in between.
