My Home

Work:: My Home (S01763057833)

Maybe it's an orange carpet, or feeling the presence of other people, minding their own business in other places. What is London like as a new home? Maybe it's a place where the people look like blue-eyed dolls, who kiss each other in the street, and the shops sell bananas that smell of nothing. My Home is a piece of verbatim theatre that tells the true stories of people who have travelled from Poland, Somalia, Kirdistan and Vietnam to make London their home, using their own words. The audience will experience contrasting perceptions of 'home', as they move from room to room within the house. Hearing stories of departure and arrival, memories, and plans for the future.
