Mr Sole Abode

Mr Sole Abode

Work:: Mr Sole Abode (S1856877459)

Mr Sole Abode is a world-renowned architect, a master chef and an outlandish inventor, who lives in a fridge under a bridge. Unable to function under the strains of contemporary urban living, Sole leaves behind the everyday world to create his own unique reality. Infused with explosive physicality and touching humour, Mr Sole Abode is a poetic tale which explores sanity and madness, inviting you to see the world through the eyes of a homeless man.

Author Benji Reid

Production:: (T253776871)

Inspired by Ben Okris award-winning novel; The Famished Road and David Bohm's writings on the nature of reality, Leo Kay created the show in 2006 with renowned Hip Hop Theatre Maker Benji Reid. In this unique redevelopment, multi-instrumentalist Daniel Marcus Clark joins Leo on stage to create a magical soundscape, new writing reflects current concerns surrounding homelessness and growing financial inequality and Faulty Optic's ingenious set design remains centre stage.
