Moon Play archiveWhat does the moon mean to us? Mysterious, large, precious, round pearl in the night sky. It's harvest time and we are reminded of Chang O, the Lady of the Moon, and Ho Yi, her husband, the Great Archer, who shot down the 9 suns. It's also time for Moon Cakes and secret messages! Moon Play has been devised by members of London's Chinese community to celebrate the Mid Autumn Moon Festival with the support of theatre professionals Wing Hong Li, Kwong Loke, Kumiko Mendl and Veronica Needa. It will be performed in English and Chinese. Suitable for all ages.
