Blind since shortly after birth, Molly lives a fulfilled life, with a good job and a wide circle of friends. Then Frank Sweeney enters her world...Frank - passionate, impulsive and reckless - takes Molly as his wife and convinces her that she should seek medical treatment to have her sight restored. Their hopes rest in the hands of a once-successful surgeon, now exiled in rural Ireland.
