Mister Heracles

Mister Heracles

Work:: Mister Heracles (S0319675624)

A living legend returns home after years away. He finds his family under threat of execution and his country in despair. It's not quite the welcome home he'd expected. The country has been waiting for the return of a conquering hero, but Heracles is just a man - a master of violence, but also a slave to it. Shocking and strange, tearing from triumph to horror, Mister Heracles was commissioned by the Playhouse from Yorkshire-born poet, Simon Armitage.
