Miracle at Number 34 archiveEddie lives at Number 34, a nursing home in Belfast and suffers from Alzheimer's. The place might pong of pee, but there works a young compassionate care worker, Shelly. The two embark on a special journey, working their way through Eddie's bucket list, even if it does take them to Barry's on the windiest day of the year and coming up the lagan in an actual bubble. In the run up to Christmas, Eddie receives mysterious gifts from... Santa? No that's mad, sure Santa only works one day a year, the layabout. Shelly, unwilling to leave Eddie to spend Christmas day alone, extends her shift and as Eddie experiences a touching moment of recollection, this moment becomes a Christmas miracle for Shelly.
