Matryoshka's Journey archiveMatryoshka's Journey is a most unusual theatrical entertainment. A play about a girl who realises that for her whole life, she had shut down her true self because she had been forced to show the world an artificial image. In this trip of real growth, she will have to travel to different places with new and unfamiliar people, searching and ultimately locating what she will need to feel ready to take a train again... The spectators travel with her, turning around in circles, as if they were on that train and observing her evolution until she completes the circle and is ready to board her train with her new Russian doll. But the inspector demands a strange sort of ticket: a big, real-life doll...
