How far would you go to get everything you ever wanted? Marianne and Joss have been trying to have a baby for a while, so when Marianne finally reveals that she's pregnant, it's a cause for celebration. However, things may not be as they seem and over the course of an evening her story, and then their lives, begin to unravel in front of them. What will be left once the dust has settled? I>Matryoshka is a story about human nature, technological advancement, and what happens when the tools we create offend our cultural sensibilities, especially surrounding fertility. Whether or not "science can go too far" is explored in a show full of drama, projection, music, and live set puppetry.
