Macbeth

Macbeth

Work:: Macbeth (S4096)

The Scottish Play - theatrical types consider saying its name to be unlucky! Thrust into power by his overwhelming desires and an over ambitious wife, Macbeth finds his only security is to murder and murder again. From "When shall we three meet again" to "is this a dagger I see before me" a powerful Shakespearean drama.
Author Shakespeare

Production:: (T1286686177)

3hird Wheel present a unique adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic tale of treason, black magic and betrayal. See what happens when an everyday tragic hero decides to pack it all in to do some really, really bad things. Fuelled with dark humour, this performance takes the basic elements of Shakespeare’s text and marries it with a frenetic physical style as three actors take on the entire cast of characters. Macbeth was a really great guy until he decided to kill the King. So what could have possibly driven such a decent man to murder? Can it really just have been his ambition? Is it anything to do with the witches who are hiding in the dustbin? Ideal for those who enjoy a contemporary twist on traditional text and a perfect opportunity for those studying Macbeth at school to see it delivered in a memorable, accessible and interesting fashion.
