Macbeth - the dark tale of jealousy, corruption, power and murder set in a time of political upheaval. Freakshow's Macbeth reinforces the adroitness of Shakespeare's vision; placing the macbeths in a blitzkrieg world of political intrigue and backstabbing, revealing that the human follies of ambition and power-mania have the same resounding effects today as in Shakespeare's time. After being collected in the theatre's walled rear courtyard you will be led into the bunker of performance, a semi-promenade where you may feel reasonably free to move around. Whether you dare cross sniper's alley as helicopter gunships and elite forces surround you is quite another matter....
