To escape from her doubts and fears, a woman locks herself in a cage. Her illusion of happiness is shaken when a demon awakes inside her, a demon which still cherishes her childhood dreams and her instinct to be free. The two being engage in passionate combat. Combining movement, music, video, live and recorded text, Ma Cage explores the search for self-fulfilment. Lightness gives way to drama, poetry to absurdism, childish humour to a darker one, giving birth to a universe of emotions and symbols which trigger the imagination and open the doors to the subconscious.
