Little Victories

Work:: Little Victories (S4013)

Life for Tony is bewildering with a new step-dad at home and a new baby on the way. Josie is confronting a life threatening illness. Tony and Josie become friends through their shared obsession with the latest computer game Death-Dealer. Together they battle through the levels to defeat the evil Skullmort but real life begins to parallel the game and the final showdown proves to be the hardest of all. This funny and profound play sensitively deals with the difficult emotions encountered both in learning to accept new family members and mourning the loss of someone you love. Little Victories was Winner of the London Fringe Award Best Play for Children 1994 and Time Out Best Children's Show 1994. Recommended age 8+
