Most people will recognise the story from film versions - "Dangerous Liaisons" and the recent 'updating' "Cruel Intentions". This production falls somewhere between the two, taking the original play, set in 1782, and transposing it to 1984 when it was first performed, for a Dynasty-esque interpretation.
