Les Enfants du Paradis is one of he most beautiful love stories ever told. Garance, an orphan, is fought over by four very different men - the greatest mime artist, the finest actor, the richest nobleman and the most prolific criminal of the day all compete for her affection. The drama played out in post-revolutionary Paris, mimics the pantomimes and melodramas that the audiences flocked to see, packing the playhouse of the City of Lights all the way up to the gods.
