Details

We follow college lecturer, Martin Dawson played by Nick Figgis in his hope to escape from obscurity by having a screenplay made into a film. We witness his struggles with his relationship with his wife and children, his mistress and elm agent along with his overbearing parents played by John Godber and Jane Thornton. Martin finds himself at an open mic spot at a local comedy club in front of a packed house and during the performance, we see painfully hilarious flash backs of his life.
