It deals with the family of Dina Nath Joshi (his wife, daughter and son) and son-in-law Arun Mahar Athawle. Both are victims as well as perpetrators of social injustice. They eventually join together to inflict devastating damage upon the family. The principles and ideals of Dina Nath Joshi thus disastrously get shattered.
