John Muir: A Rhapsody in Green archiveThis heart-stopping drama tells the story of the explorer and pioneering conservationist John Muir who explored the forests and glaciers of the Pacific North West and inspired environmental movements all over the world. The story is told through the eyes of John Muir's close friend, the Reverend Samual Hall Young, a Presbyterian minister who with his family and faithful mutt Stickeen, set up a mission on the coast of Alaska in 1879. The audience is transported to the Alaskan wilderness, where, beside his wigwam, sledge and huskies Rev Young remembers his friend and tells tales of Muir's wonderful discoveries in this beautiful, savage and often dangerous world.
