Intent to Murder follows Janet Preston, a well-known writer who lives in a remote cottage on the Yorkshire Moors. She's a criminal on the run, having killed her husband and before disposing of the body, is confronted by her accomplice George who blackmails her into agreeing to pass him off as the dead man until such time as he can make a getaway. The events that follow twist unexpectedly toward an ingeniously surprising climax.
