In God We Trust

Work:: In God We Trust (S1015008542)

Guantanamo Bay is seen largely as a symbol of western imperialism, American retribution and naked injustice. Approximately 650 men and children from over 40 nationalities have been captured; one thread that binds these strangers to one another is their faith. In God We Trust is about two young Muslim men held in cages, in chains, in Guantanamo Bay. It explores their relationship, and how they find sanctuary in each other in order to survive.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
