Husband Ni Home Delivery, is a Gujarati play set in the present time in one of the densely populated suburbs of Asian community. The main events revolve around a husband and wife They have been married for 12 years and have a son. The wife is fed up of her husband's constant absence, his lack of interest in her and his family. He is obsessed with his business and demands his wife to obey him slavishly. The constant nagging and dominance by her husband turn her into a rebel. She on her friend's advice, hatches a plan to henpeck her husband. The entire action of the play revolves around her crafty planning and scheming. But at the end alas it turned out to be too hard for the wife to cope with the unexpected outcome. Husband Ni Home Delivery is a satire on the mentality of most Asian married men who live in the most advanced Western cities of Europe like London and yet compel their life partners to follow strictly, the age-old hackneyed social customs and traditions of their ancestors.
