Hugh Hughes: The Wonderful World of Hugh Hughes

Work:: Hugh Hughes: The Wonderful World of Hugh Hughes (S01085565564)

Production:: 360 (T657700383)

He’s back! Over the last few years, audiences in Plymouth have taken Hugh Hughes, the much-loved emerging Welsh artist, to their hearts. Now he returns to the Drum and invites everyone to his Wonderful World. In a retrospective of the award-winning work he has presented nationally and internationally since leaving the small town of Llangefni, Hugh shares Floating, Story of a Rabbit and Hugh Hughes in 360 - three joyful stories inspired by his own life. Alongside this, he’ll be showing some brand new work, Stories from an Invisible Town and How I Got Here created especially for the residency. You can also visit his Wonderful World online at www.hughhughes.me. On Saturday, Hugh will be performing all three of his shows that have played at the Drum Theatre. It’s your chance to catch all of his shows together, enjoy his brand new pieces or to see any you might have missed last time around. Hugh Hughes in 360: A story about friendship and sharing just about everything. Hugh climbs Snowdon with his best friend Gareth, but the journey to the summit leads to big questions about fantasy, first love and bottling things up.
