Hood

T0405928320
Strathcona delve into the origins of the Robin Hood story and find a darkly comic tale of violence, ribaldry and revenge. The company weave a tale of terrifying vengeance wrought by the dispossessed, outcast and despised of modern England. In a Sherwood Forest eaten away by bypasses and out of town shopping developments, the disabled and deadly Robin and his outlaw gang set out to seize life by the throat, taking by force things long denied to them. Fusing text, dance and mime Hood is contentious and poetic.
