Holding Hands at Paschendale archiveBased on the true experience of his grandfather, the play follows the lives of two men during the 3rd Battle of Paschendale in 1917. Mo is a London eastender, a sparky vaudeville entertainer-turned Kitchener volunteer, who is arrested for refusing to go over the top in the face of the enemy. Willie is a Belfast man ordered to do the arresting and who regard Mo as nothing more than a coward. Circumstances conspire to keep the two strangers handcuffed to each other as they await Mo's Court Marshal. Recommended 16+ Contains some strong language and sexual imagery.
