History of the Peace

Work:: History of the Peace (S0528253791)

A peaceful tale of bombings, guns, punishment beatings and riots. Lots of riots. Meet Karen Reid, an East Belfast community worker trying to navigate her way through the uneasy peace; from the 1994 ceasefires and Good Friday Agreement to the Chuckle brothers and flag protests. Things get even more bizarre when she meets a darts-playing looper, Fireball, from ?the other side'. While Karen fervently believes in a new Northern Ireland, some of her nearest and dearest aren't so keen. She soon realises that sometimes to win peace, you must be a warrior.
