What does good works and charity mean in the 21st century? For half a century, Anoek Nuyens' great aunt ran the charity Auxilium (Latin for ?help'). Since its establishment in the 1960s, the foundation has provided financial support to various small-scale medical projects in Africa. Now that her great aunt has reached the age of 97, she thinks it's time to hand over to a new generation, and is passing on responsibility for the foundation to Anoek. But how to proceed? Do we still even believe in development cooperation in 2015?
