Carl's in hospital, terrified of the outside world and desperately trying to persuade to doctors to let him stay. Gina's just sorted out her life, got a new flat and, for the first time in her life, has the support of her family. Now all she has to do is convince the court to let her keep her children. And middle-class university student James is facing a sentence of up to 25 years for dealing Class As. What will he tell his parents? Drawn from the lives and experiences of local people, Head On is a series of six monologues which examine the issues, fears and attitudes to drugs that face young people and their families. An extraordinary piece of writing, it tackles difficult issues with compassion, realism and humour to create a moving and compelling evening of theatre.Three of the six plays will be performed each evening and there will be an opportunity for an after show discussion with the actors and director after each performance.
