Haunts

Haunts

Work:: Haunts (S1476869189)

Abby and Jack, a young couple, are keen to enter the property market in trendy Brixton. In order to do so, they will have to make some compromises. Their otherwise perfect fixer-upper flat only has one minor problem: Michael, the resident ghost. Set in a world where ghosts are real and the housing crisis is just as present, Haunts is a new play from the Bruntwood Prize long-listed playwright Christopher Adams exploring the powerful forces of gentrification shaping London today. Haunts asks what is gained - and lost - in the struggle for a place to call home.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
