Funny Thing Called Love

Work:: Funny Thing Called Love (S0788639327)

The Desai household includes the henpecked Prof Desai, the matriarchal Mrs Desai, their daughters Anushka and Bunty. The normally tranquil Desai household is thrown into chaos with the arrival of Melwyn and Dougy D'costa. Avoiding the watchful eye of Mrs Desai, Anuskha and Melwyn profess undying love for each other. In the tradition of Romeo and Juliet and Heer and Ranjha, they defy the barrier of religion and caste. This is when the fun really begins...A Funny Thing Called Love is an extension of our lives. We identify with the characters and see the family as we see ourselves.
