French Without Tears archiveOn the South Coast of France, a small group of young men are being coached in French by M Maingot and his daughter, Jacqueline. They do not find French easy, but their progress is further bedevilled by the presence of Diana Lake who has a gift for making men fall in love with her. And they fall like ninepins. Although Diana has a special fondness for one young man, she is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Lord Heybrook but her plans go awry in a way that takes them all by surprise.
