Fox Finder archiveIn the 17th century the word Witch Finder spread fear amongst farming communities. No one was safe, no one was above suspicion. In the not too distance future, the word Fox Finder spreads fear in rural communities. Mankind over the ages has found it convenient to have an enemy on which to blame all its ills, whether it be witches or foxes. Judith and Samuel Covey lead an uncomplicated life when William Bloor, the Fox Finder arrives to investigate an alleged infestation of foxes. Samuel Covey is crumbling under the weight of grief as his son has recently died. Judith Covey, is also overwhelmed with grief, but is trying to keep the farm from failing, and be strong for Samuel. Sarah Box, the neighbour, is a fledgling activist who challenges the Fox Finder version of the truth and his authority. Is Fox Finder a parable, a fable, a gothic horror, a thriller or a prediction for the future? You decide
